Best for tent camping and tent trailers Full-size travel trailers would be limited on the spots they could find. There are some pull through spots that could accommodate them but not very many that I remember.
Note: it says when you're at the camp ground that a recreation pass is not required. Only wish that they let you know that a mile or two before at the tollbooth stops that sell the recreation passes (which are only needed if you are going to park.)
I believe they currently charge $16 a night.
Overall we like Yellow Pine campground. They do not offer water so you must bring your own. Outhouses are nothing special. Mix of pine trees and and desert plants. It is one of the lower elevation campgrounds on Mirror Lake Highway, so it does not get his as cold as the higher elevation spots heading east down the road. There are fewer trees (not that there aren't trees but it's just not quite as thick with trees like there are at Mirror Lake Campground for example.) Usually not too crowded and it gives you a fire pit and a picnic table.
